Roxio Audio Issues and Solution.

The Roxio Capture Card me and my brother got has given us a whole host of problems, the most noticeable of which is the audio being too loud and tearing.
Well the only way to fix that is to reduce the in game volume, and even that's not a perfect fix, as you will see.

@pontyfaxjr Uninstall roxio game capture software then upgrade your sound-card driver via the developers website (I.E realtek.) Re-install roxio BUT when roxio prompts you to search for updates during install select no. Once your PC/Laptop has restarted give it a try, it worked on my acer aspire laptop running windows 7. I have a feeling the update may have carried the string of data which causes the sound to distort as I had the exact same problem, works fine for me now :)

I've experienced the same problems myself. I bought the Happauge HD PVR 4 months ago, and it was flawless ever since.

I've read up on this problem and you're right word for word in what you say with the problems and temporary resolution. Fortunately its actually a software based problem caused by the software that roxio ARE aware of the bad news is they don't intend to create a fix or update for it. I'm going to try running some tests of my own to see if I can find a perminant fix as the strange thing is once the software is first installed it works fine, a few weeks to a few months later it goes horribly wrong
