I noticed that when you played this you did not use alternate picking up and down.I have seen other lessons that say it is very important to play with wlternate picking.To me however the way you play it sounds fine.how important is alternate picking in this song?

great observation! I'm not always concerned about my up/down pattern if it feels alright and i can get the speed i need. Some phrases as you know it is very key to have a certain pattern. As a general rule up and down strokes are the way to go. Keep pickin!!
