both of these guys who have been commenting for some time are both in the extreme. one of them says that everyone is saved without accepting Jesus, while one of them says that Joel tries to replace Jesus as the way to salvation. have you guys ever been to lakewood? apparently, you only select certain parts of his messages and take them out of context.
@k0smon: I like GOD's approach to Christianity...it's called the Bible....Read Mathew 7:13 & 7:21-23 and know that you are on the broad path....I do not say this to condem you, I say this to help you.
@familyguybro78 I like Carlton Pearson's approach to Christianity in his gospel of inclusion. He says Jesus came to save everyone, and they are saved whether they believe it or not. Also, check out Bart Ehrman's books "Misquoting Jesus" and "Jesus Interrupted" for an illuminated look at the bible.
@familyguybro78 In many places, yes. Not only wrong, but contradictory. A book that is used to support both sides of an theological argument. It is one reason we have so many denominations.
@familyguybro78 ;;;You asked about him being a pastor. His name is not listed in the bible, (except the book of Joel).. I believe as bible scholar Bart Ehrman does, that the bible is the word of man, not of God.
@k0smon I used to believe the same thing.....but you need to remember 1/2 a truth is not the Whole truth....Osteen is a great motivational speaker...but a true Pastor??

@k0smon MISSINTERPETATION is why we have so many denominations. Here are the FACTS: Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life....Not Joel Osteen.
