are alge wafers a recomended food for oranda goldfish or if not what would be a better food I currently use wardley advanced nutrition goldfish and Hikari blood worms as a treat

Pearlscales are the ones that are just plain FAT. Ryukins are the hump-backed ones.

They actually still do. for what ever reason, they wont eat it off the glass or gravel... I guess they expect it to be handed to them on a gold platter...
