Verizon Wireless has started selling a book-sized device that boosts cell phone signals within a home for $250, making it easier for people to drop a home phone line and rely solely on wireless. (Jan. 26)
I thought Verizon was supposed to have more places with zones you can call in. I have never been in a dead zone with my cell, even in my basement, where my parents old plan with AT&T wouldn't allow them to talk or text down there.

Ever since we've moved, our new home is a dead zone and had to go back to a land line. Glad to hear they're working on fixing this problem.
