I don't actually know what this song is called. The sheet music was given to me by my old guitar teacher a few years back, but I've lost it. This was played entirely by memory so it may not be exactly the same as the original.

The style isn't exactly common ground for me, but I've had a bit of soft spot for gypsy jazz since my former tutor got me into it and I figured it'd be cool to upload something a bit different.

  • What's the name of the guitar that you used in this video?

  • @GantonioG And now, a year later I can tell you it is in fact an Earthfire Heatwave GA3090E.

  • Nice playing. The tune is Swing Gitan, as is seemingly indicated in the title. "Gitan" is French for "gypsy." I have music and tabs I'm willing to share. to reach me, just email me a request, my email is waustin (at) austinfowerwills (lets put dot here, followed by a com). Resources should be shared freely in my opinion.

  • Good job men, i'am french and i want to play your solo but i don't understand arppeggio in 0,46 and 0,47 in A and G please give me an answer. thank

  • Nice stuff, you really got those rhythm guitars driving!

  • @soundwrks Really, what state? btw how old are you? and also, im not a stalker lol just saying.

  • @darkday211 Yeah I am. I'm in the US at the moment on a university exchange. :)

  • @soundwrks Thats pretty snazzy, btw your not english are you?

  • @darkday211 Well I've left all my electric guitars in the UK for ten months, so the next vid will definitely be acoustic! I'm thinking about a rodrigo y gabriela cover, possibly.

  • @soundwrks Your welcome, btw you should do way more acoustic stuff bc if some more people are like me, im tired of all this electric guitar stuff, i love the sound of an acoustic solo in a rock song, and i love acoustic jazz stuff with harmonization. Its just awesome.

  • @soundwrks I need to be honest and say that I have never heard for that brand of the guitar.Thnx for the reply anyway.
