Been building this from scratch for two years. Still not done but decided to start it for my blog friends. The build is documented at http://boardtracker.blogspot.com/

  • I'd go with .090 or so.

  • now did you you buy the frame an build around it???

  • No I made the frame from scratch. .120 DOM tubing = overkill.

  • difficult to build?

  • Yes.

  • The engine is a Vanguard V-twin. It's a Comet 40 with centrifugal clutch and variable ratio sheave in back. Hand-built frame. Info is in the blog.

  • whats the deal were all cyclones yellow

  • @dmar836 You say .120 DOM was overkill. What tubing would you recommend then? I'm just curious because I plan on starting my build soon..

  • Vanguards are tough engines. Built on the design of the Generac OHVI industrial engine.
