This is my second video of the 2nd Comfortably Numb solo. I have re-uploaded for a couple of reasons. 1) The previous version had dodgy sound quality and 2) I am now playing it on a les paul which I think sounds better than the Strat for this piece. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

  • What tuning machines are in it?

  • Good, but you need to have a pinh harmonic at the beginning :)

  • @uum6 you have to use the neck pickup, that will give you the scream/whine sound. just search for some high overdrive with much bass. that will do a big job. if you have some built in effects like chorus use that a bit.

  • try to learn to up pick and not just down pick all the time.. it will make ur guitar playing better and easier!

  • sounds good, i like it alot. normaly played on a strat, but i like the les paul sound for the way you play it. please check out my cover of comfortably numb (not the one of my band which is also on my profile) and tell me what you think

  • Can I get that sound with a Les Paul Standard and a Marshal MG4 amp? I can't buy an effects pedal right now, but can I at least get a similar sound with this equipment?

  • Nice cover mate, sounds class! Could you check out my version of it please? I could do with some feedback! Keep it up mate and keep rockin'!

  • Great plaing. But i would recommend using an external microfone. Even a cheap one would sound better ( i mean bring out the guitar more).

  • I think this solo sounds better on a stratocaster

  • awesome guitar, awesome solo, very well played :-)
