Ubuntu Linux box with a just installed WinTV card by Hauppauge. Basicly this video demostrates ones ability to watch TV on a Linux computer, specificly a Ubuntu Linux Hoary computer.
Well, that and the fact that my home office is messy at the moment.

i have ubuntu 10.4 what program do i get and well just about any tv tuner work i'm getting one soon i hope for afast reply

I too use Ubuntu (actually Xubuntu) as my main OS and have TV Time installed. I also keep a Windows partition for some games (mainly The Price Is Right from Ludia Games) as well as my InterVideo WinDVR 3 PVR program. As much as I love Xubuntu (moved on to Hardy Heron), MythTV and Freevo don't run as well for me as WinDVR 3.

I just got me an AVerTV Go TV tuner card off eBay like new for $14 plus shipping, so I'll get that set up on Xandros running TV Time...I might just upgrade to Xandros 4 and install MythTV.

@teambkwf I ended up switching to Ubuntu under VMWare on my iMac. Much nicer. Too bad I can't get Unity window dressing to work properly on its GeForce 9400 :-(

@insub2, WinTV card from Hauppauge and it ran about $50 usd.
