alex udinov (nikita) | little house

(this is me whining and complaining. To skip to the fun part of the description.. well just don't read the description if you're looking for funny :p To skip the whining, don't read the first six lines)
I am frustrated, as a vidder. Does that even exist, vidder's frustration? If not, I think I just invented it. It's just that, I have all these amazing ideas, and I start viding them, and then, after i've completed a minute or even more I simply cannot bring myself to finish the video. And that, my friends, is really frustrating. I have exactly six almost-finished videos, and I have no idea when I'll be able to complete them.

(if you're here because you decided to skip the whining, yey, thanks for sticking with me ;D but, this is the Nikita part of the description. You might want to skip another few lines if you don't want to hear about this xD)
Ugh. That felt good. Sort of. Anyhow, new fandom! I know, you're probably more surprised when I vid an old one by now. I know, I'm bad, I shouldn't start all these new tv shows but I just can't help myself! And Nikita is one of those shows I've always wanted to watch but never did; I saw the first episodes some time ago but never got into it, and then last week I saw all the episodes in three days (no kidding. My mom literally dragged me out of my room to check if the light of day would burn me). To be honest, I get those who stopped watching after a while, as a long term thing I guess it can be boring, but as a four days marathon I can assure you, it's really entertaining ;)

So, as you could wildly guess, Alex is my favorite character. LOVE her, she's the reason why I kept watching, her and her relationship with Nikita. I love her character because she's damaged goods, let's face it, but I love how she struggles with her past, and doing the right thing, and even knowing what the right thing is, and showing she's good enough.. she's just trying to find her way. And yeah, I'll admit this season hasn't been the best for her so far, but who knows? I still like her plot with her family and I want to see where that's going.
Also what I really loved as I said was her relationship with Nikita, how she saw her like a mentor of sorts - a sensei, I mean ;D I miss how they would trust each other even when they couldn't trust anyone else, and have each other's back no matter what.. Alex has even admitted she gets why Nikita did what she did, because her dad was about to shoot her and she had no choice, I think she's just too proud to go back to Nikki even if she wants to. And I noticed there's a lot of hate for Alex and love for Nikita but if you ask me, Nikita has already made up her mind about who she is while Alex is still fighting with herself to find that out, that's what's intriguing about her.

Rambling more than usual, wow. Didn't think that was possible.
Finally, about the video:
I don't like it. I hope you do, but I honestly don't :p I don't know why. Song is one of my favorites, so is the character, and I'm pretty proud of the coloring.. alright, I'll say it; the only thing that I did, the editing, is what I don't like. I don't know why. I originally wanted to vid another song, maybe that's it.. idk. I'll let you judge :)

(Part 2) I really love that opening voiceover. Alex is totally my favorite character too, although by the end of season 1 Michael was probably tied as my favorite character. Both are sort of struggling to find themselves - I see a lot of similarities in both characters and really love them both. And I love all of the friendships but I shipped Alex/Thom and and Mikita all the way... I also don't hate Nikita/Owen nor Alex/Nathan, they are/were kinda nice too. I just saw 211! Best ep of s2 maybe?

@luvtheheaven5 I really really need to thank you, thank you so much, because your comments are one of the main reasons that keep me motivated; I love how you can see and thankfully appreciate all the effort and thought I put into every clip, voiceover and editing choice. As for Nikita, I just saw both the seasons two weeks ago in no more than three days time, and loved them, and absolutely agree about the characters and the ships; I'm not big on Mikita but I prefer Nikita/Owen,..

@luvtheheaven5 (part2) and I really dislike, if not hate, Sean, even though I never really shipped Alex with anyone except for Micheal at the very beginning and even Thom a little. But Sean, even without considering his "dark side", is a very dislikable and weak character imo, and is absolutely not good for Alex. Idk, guess we'll have to wait and see. And btw 2x11 was definitely the best episode so far, especially for my Nikita/Alex loving heart ;D Thank you again for the comment!

Awesome video! I adore this show SOOOOO much! It's like a drug for me. I really do love Alex, I felt very betrayed by her at the end of Season 1 but I'm back on her side and her relationship with Nikita is my favourite part of the show. That said, I'm Team Nikki all the way. I just physically can't not be.

@BrookeDavisFan19 I totally know what you mean; I felt the same way. I mean, I can understand why she is acting like she is, she feels betraied the only person she trusted completely and now she can't trust anyone else, but it's obvious that Nikita is right. That said, I really hope it will never come to chosing between the two of them because I really wouldn't know what to do xD

@ItalianRory Yeah I agree completely about Sean, he's just not at all likable, I don't get people who ship him and Alex, not really... I mean I'm trying to like him/them but he/they are so "eh" lol... I do *love* Mikita though. :D I really love the Nikita/Alex relationship SO much, I don't ship them but I love their relationship, they are basically family at this point, the only real family the other has, and I think that's why s2 is weaker than s1 - the lack of Nikita/Alex lol. :P

(Part 4) The song choice is great and you got some of the best Alex facial expressions and voiceovers in here. I love the coloring too. Your lyric matching is flawless per usual - "everything short of suicide" with her stupidly almost getting herself killed but holding up her hands because she doesn't want to die... or the "back when it all began" at 0:41 - the comparison of her on the floor 2 different times at 0:45 was so cool and perfect... the fast-paced editing at 0:50! You always are epic.

(Part 3) I also just started showing my dad this show after showing him the first 7 episodes of Once Upon a Time lol... we've seen through 1x06 of Nikita together... rewatching the show is really getting me in a super Nikita mood now. I really want to vid it but I want to finish one of the other vids I've started first!! Ah! Lol. I also have an idea for a OUaT vid but again. I have another vid I need to finish.

So yeah I agree with/relate to your description like 150%, you have no idea.
