As it would happen Greg, we ended up receiving a food drop by helecopter in the final week of our trip but we did make it under the Golden Gate Bridge without a tow. We are recognised by Guinness World Records as the first team to row the North Pacific West to East. As previously mentionned we do recognise the rows of d’Aboville and Coindre on that route as being before us.

Great video! Didn't Gerard d'Aboville do this row to Washington in 91? I'm just reading his book now. What about Emmanuel in 2005 to California? What makes your row to the Golden gate different? Best of luck to you! Can't wait to watch!

Hi Greg,
Gerard d'Aboville got a tow into land. He was close and had certainly rowed the North Pacific but didn't go land to land unsupported. Emmanuel ran out of food 800 miles offshore an got food dropped to him. Again he did cross the North Pacific but he got assistance. Good luck with your endeavour too.
