Nice speech Steve. Who wrote it for you? Did your speech writer also object to the "Respect the Constitution" signs? Did your speech writer understand the message or is your speech writer just another "knee jerk liberal"? I and a few hundred of my friends at the Conservative Society for Action will make sure to bring some sings by your office. So make sure your Democrat speech writer will be there to approve them.

As credible as we are right now from trying to make no regulation on wallstreet work, I would ask us how we plan on buying a snickers bar.

thats all fine. but sorry. it is taxation, fees, and over regulations. i live in CA. our state has one of the highest cost of doing business in the country. and in the last year or two we have been losing lots of business do to our over taxation, over regulations. they may not be leaving the country. but they are taking there jobs and tax dollars to other state. GEE. and CA happens to have the highest unemployment and the highest deficit in the country. but im sure its just a coincidence.

I only buy what I can afford. Most people do. Many that bought houses they couldn't afford were conned by aggressive lenders. Most Community Reinvestment Act loans did not default; percentage has been fairly steady for 20 years. Do you really think the largest economy in the world could be knocked out by some poor people's home loans? CDS, CDO, rating agencies, short-selling, etc, activities by the WEALTHY had far more impact and made bonuses for them.

NY state also has the tax the rich and tax the business idea. in the last year or two they have lost over 1million "rich" people because of it. taking there jobs and tax dollars with them. that just means, like CA they will have to raise taxes on the working class that you think is being victimized by the "rich"to replace the lost revenue which will be hard because of the jobs that left. but don't worry. the gov will redistribute wealth to fix the problems they created.
