This is a portable child's record player from the 70s or 80s that features cartoon characters on the lid with the name "Chino" printed on the drawing. The brand name "Daylin" is on the lid.

  • is it plugged into a speaker, or does it have loud sound on it's own?

  • It has its own speaker....those holes next to the turntable is where the sound comes out and it is quite loud!

  • What type of needle does it use?

  • Speaker built into the turntable, milk carton tone arm, brown whiteish colour... GENIUS

  • so how it the record player powered????

  • i like this toy

  • Very neat portable! It has the same exact turntable in my 1978 Superheroes and 1978 Mickey Mouse by Tiger record player and the same tonearm in my 70s Dejay Disco record player and again the Mickey Mouse record player. Only thing that sucks is that disco or anything with a lot of bass skips on those players.

  • Cool!

  • Seems to be right on speed. Most of those players run fast.

  • neat player! haven't seen those in years!!!

    Cool beatles 45!!
