  • Standing ovation for the actors!

  • i love this Mycroft, this scene shows how similar to Sherlock he really is. they are both very intelligent but can be so ignorant at the same time. Sherlock didnt even know Lestrades first name was greg, Mycroft did'nt thin blabing to a murdering criminal would be a big problem. i dont think we should all hate Mycroft, he made a mistake but so do Sherlock and John. he is only human, (love John in this scene)

  • he totally helped his brother fake his death....it would make a loooot of sense!

  • aw Mycroft :( Mark does brilliantly in this scene he looks utterly heartbroken that he has just fed Sherlock to the lions :( he never meant to to destroy Sherlock you can tell from this scene that he never wanted that, but he did what he did out of stupidity not cruelty so i forgive him lol (but if Sherlock was really dead, i would of hunted him down XD)

  • What a dick

  • One of the most emotional scenes of the hole series.

Mycrofts look, when he says "Tell him, would you?" made me cry immediatly.

  • Mycroft knew what was going to happen...

  • *fans self* Wow, JOHN.

Have to say, this scene completely flips their very first meeting on its head; John now has the upper hand, and Mycroft is the uncomfortable one. And just seeing how protective John is of Sherlock is just SEXY.

  • i really think that despite it all---the rivalry, this past between them---sherlock and mycroft really care for one another. it's especially apparent from mycroft's side: whenever sherlock is in danger of using drugs again, mycroft is on the alert. (and ii still think it's darkly funny that mycroft abducts john every time he wants to know how sherlock is doing.)

  • Oh god. You can see Mycroft die a little bit inside as John talks.. When he realises exactly what he's done. It's heartbreaking.

  • The music, when John walks away... Jesus, It's just so chilling. When I look at this scene after seeing the whole episode, It's like the music included everything, what we and John should prepare for. All these things John doesn't know and what are going to happen.

Mycroft: "John... I'm sorry." And then John's laugh, like it means... all. Despair, anger, fear and many questions, why? Why his best friend and the best man...

  • Suddenly I understand the relationship between the two brother's so much more. This is where the animosity between the two brothers comes from. The positions they've taken in life. They are incompatible. The man who seeks the security of Britain and the man who searches for the truth. They will use each other for their own benefit but they will also ruin each other if its to reach their goals. They probably both saw this coming and that's why Sherlock doesn't go after Myrcoft.
