What makes you think so? James Madison wrote in Essay #10 of The Federalist Papers, "...democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths." How can it be a democracy when the Constitution does not contain the word democracy but guarantees to every State in this Union a republican form of government?

I hate to break it to you, but it is a Democracy. You will also note I never said it was a direct democracy which is what the Founding Fathers were against. They were for a Democracy though.

Our gov't was established as a Constitutional Republic. Democracy is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution or Bill of Rights, but the Federalist Papers and letters by amongst this nation founders make it clear they were against Democracy. Our media and gov't call it a Democracy, but that doesn't make it so.

It's a Democratic Republic, or a Republic based on Democracy, so, yes, we have a Democracy to save.

It is really looing bad for this counrty. Bill HR 1955 will make freedom of speech a thing of the past if it becomes law. Plus it stops all forms of decent, and I do mean all, sit-ins is the use of force, and you will be labled a homegrown terrorist. If the bill becomes a law "We The People" will no longer have a voice, and America will be done for.

I think I know what they did switched McCains votes with Ron Paul's. None of this makes sense at all. I think Ron Paul was the winner by a landslie I don't have the evidence but this video really is a nice piece of work. No more diebold it's illegal the people never choose to have electronic voting if I am mistaken please let me know we must fight to find the truth!

I like Ron Paul and I'm voting for Ron Paul, but not everything is fraud. I don't know what to think about it, and I know that people are afraid of Ron Paul, but this video proves nothing.
We just need paper ballots period.
