@Mustanglover1202 I got an ace on my second throw with a 170 Star Vulcan I had bought. It was about 280ft with a 20% incline and trees on the right. The thing glided perfectly straight and starting turning over as it got to the trees. A little while later, I hear a ching. It was a good day :).
P.S.
The Boss is my favorite disc. I got my first ace with one, and I currently have a very worn-in 167 Star Boss that has a crack in it but I still throw it regardless.
Alright That was my 2 cents :)

i can flick a boss 500ft , like a boss.

@TheYates54 Not bad, I'm not a fan of the boss, I found a pro boss the other week, and I gave it away to a novice I met the other day. They are too domey for my, plus it was beat to heck and garbage for the most part, the lighter weights will help with understability, I'd also suggest a beast, sidewinder, or the Vulcan, but the Vulcan need to get worn a lil bit before it will turn for ya.

@Mustanglover1202 I'm younger but i seem to have great success throwing a 161 g rpro boss it beats in faster and is lighter weight making it easier to throw my uncle also swears by the 150 rpro boss

you cant see the disc after it is thrown

wierd technique or not i am very jealous
lol, im going to waste half the season trying to do a spin apporach on drives now... guess that appoarch doesnt work well for players who use half the room in their bags for beer :)

i am 46 and have been enjoying that sort of flinging and flight for years.. i still have a pat pen max weight aero i picked up in the early 80s that i threw about 425 with an almost vertical hyzer release. LOL. that wind sounded fierce, but what impressed me was his attitude. kid is having a blast and is a true flight-lover. let 'em fly!! revheelsesq
