  • you fail to understand what the context of my statements is. i do not believe in old methods of metal craft as a viable means of item production, on top of this i am not skilled at CNC nor do i own machinery for it, welding is a modern method of joining metals previously done via black smithing but i prefer the modern method over old methods. so yes, i prefer modern technology

  • @WaagooshTheRedFox i have to agree with technicusjoe blacksmithing is keeping true to the thousand year old tradtion of heating metal and forming it with raw human power! i could use electric blowers but i use a bellows or a hand cranked.... i could use propane but i choose to choke with soft and hard coal so i appreciate it if u dont care for the old fashion art of blacksmithing than find something else!

  • guys come on enough of this youtube elitist bullshit, he is probably a lot better than most of you and as for the type of steel, i dont think hes gonna run down the street sword fighting people, so it doesn't matter if its grade A steel.

  • @Mathaius833 thank you for your kinds words!!! i am tring my hardest thank you for standing up for me

  • it just a nickname no insults ment

  • i know mild steel makes poor swords however these are show pieces not actual swords so it is cheaper to do it that way!

  • @WaagooshTheRedFox hahahahaha, you're really funny now. Nevermind, you're just a low life who can't prove shit and probably hasn't achieved much in life. It's really so pathetic how you respond. But suit yourself buddy, if you prefer modern work over old, again just stay the fuck out of blacksmithing, especially obnoxious assholes like you. You just keep thinking you're right, but don't bother other people with it. And if you were right, people would back you up, but they don't.

  • @TechnicusJoe your english still sucks. also, i dont have to prove anything to you.

  • @WaagooshTheRedFox Man.... just can it! Or you know what, make a video of it and try to impress us. Otherwise the words I can think of to say are FOOL, SCRAM and YOU. And before you think you're getting all mighty, I rearranged the 3 words I could think of to say, so it doesn't look so obvious. Because you have a tendency to say my English is "shitty and still sucks" as I quote it.

  • @lansfordno9mine ok i understand that, but i am also saying that it can be done better by using current knowledge of re-sonic frequencies and metals to produce product easier, faster, and more safely. i suggest looking up the different anvil types and why each one has a benefit and a hindrance to the process. im not sayin' you cant produce good work with no more than two rock, but you can produce better and faster if instead of the anvil absorbing the shock it puts it into the

  • @WaagooshTheRedFox Speaking of failing, you don't even mention, nor give contexts. You blundly state something, probably assuming I think the exact same as you. Hello, nobody is the same, not even identical twins. And what are you talking nonsense about welding? I couldn't care less you prefer modern technology. I can say I prefer the old way/ technology. If you prefer modern technology, then stay the hell out of blacksmithing. Blacksmithing isn't modern, it's thousands years old, so not modern!

  • @WaagooshTheRedFox No of course you didn't mean to post this.......and I'm the queen of England. That is sarcasm if you can't even notice that.

  • @WaagooshTheRedFox Man, just shut your mouth, you don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about. And you post statements without support, and even if you give an argument, it is so full of shit. It can't be taken seriously.
