Earth Hour is more symbolic than actually life-changing. But it highlights the need for sustainable energy. Research proves that the Earth is going downhill in terms of its "health."

i remember ... and well .. i had my 1000 watt power amp pumping hard with my strobe lights flickering such awsome shapes .. my pc had two audio app's running to almost overload .. my mixer was turned up to almost full while i mixed songs on my decks.. my six foot fish tank was pumping with its huge amount of water runnning through its filter not to mention the air pumps and heaters. and then my friends and I all had burn out sessions in our turbo charged cars out in the street. fuck we had fun

I think that it is a complete bullshit. The point I want to deliver here is that one metallurgical plant, one blast furnace, open-hearth furnace, electrical furnace consumes more energy than all inhabitants of a comparatively big city like Dnepropetrovsk (where I live, about 1.5 people). I think that energy saving technology are more necessary than artificial black-outs
