This is me solving my Deltoidal Icositetrahedron puzzle.
Predicted questions-
Q. What method do you use?
A. My own which I worked out in 1981. I first complete one "side", then orientate bottom corners, position them, fill in bottom edges, fill in middle edges and flip them if necessary. Then rotate middles.

Q. Why are you so slow?
A. Because once I worked out my own solution I never improved on it plus I never practise speed solving since that is not my interest.

Q. What puzzle did you use
A. 3x3x3

This prototype was made in 2007 from a standard Rubik's Cube. It has 24 kite sides. I have used 12 colours, doubling up on opposite faces. I have used standard Rubik's Cube style stickers.
The long name is the actual mathematical shape of the puzzle. My Kiteminx is also this shape. It still needs a bit of work and improving but I am pretty happy with the result. The three masters were sculpted by hand though Cube parts were used in the process. Silicone rubber moulds were then taken and the final pieces were cast in polyurethane resin and then put around a normal core.
It maintains it's shape and solves like a super Rubik's Cube.
