jacob was like the protector of the island and the island is like the place that is keeping the evil from spreading to the world, this enters religion and stuff.
the final message of lost was to remember and let go

@slayermate07 like a dream would have made more sense cause it would have explained all the weird stuff that happened on the island. I feel like the writers just like smoked way too much weed or something like that during the last season cause none of it really made sense. Like we still don't know what the island was about and to end the series with focusing like the last few episodes on just Jacob and his brother was dumb to me. I still don't really know what Jacob was about.
