@HeikoGuidoNico I think naughty dog couldnt do a big character (nitros oxide) so that's why penta penguin can be unlocked beating time trial. Penta = Oxide

I just did this a few minutes ago with crash, i got 1.57.38 on sewer speedway!
Not being braggy but im really chuffed with myself!
...though it took me 3 tries

u can actually get Penta Penguin Without a cheat u just have to beat all n. oxides time at time trial it was the way how i found out there's a penta penguin in this game...

@WantOxide Can't, to get Penta, you need to do a cheat. No other way.

Oxide: Is a CHEAT CODE
Penta Pinguin: You CAN cheat but the normal way is okay too: Beat all N.Tropy Ghosts is how to unlock N.Tropy and beat all N.Oxide is how to unlock PENTA PINGUIN, not NITROUS OXIDE...
You can check and answer then....

@HeikoGuidoNico i though penguin has to be unlocked with cheats too. Just that oxide needs "harder" cheats to be unlocked.

I Beat all Oxide's ghosts in time trials, and I thought that was how you got him... But I didn't get him... how exactly were you racing with him?

i see now... that is only the skin of N.OXIDE, but the speed is just like Crash.
N.OXIDE boost is located on the 6 pipes behind, not in the middle

@2auhsoj2 It's the skin of oxide, on the kart of some charachter, but the stats are the ones of oxide. If you don't know things, or aren't expert in the game, please don't comment.
Just for your info, crash or any other charachter hasn't so much turn has oxide. He has the narrowest turn rate, check the vid again.
