  • This is not really about suing "brethren." That term is used to demonstrate people of the same faith. These two groups do not teach the same, nor is the "Creation" Church really Seventh-day Adventist. I do disagree with the lawsuit. However, I also disagree with the actions of the CSDA. They are violating the 5th Commandment, at least that is what it appears on the surface of the issue.

  • Thats not even biblical, God didn't even create anything the seventh day! he rested the seventh day, read your bible! Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, (and rested the seventh day): wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

so your in contempt of court for a non biblical heading, and the international is opposed to something that is not biblical both sides are wrong!

  • @gold

I agree. I am Adventist myself, and firmly believe it is wrong to sue other Christians. There are many Adventists who firmly hold to the views of the pioneers based on the Bible, but have been disenchanted with the modern leadership of Adventism. Don't get me wrong, I think these people could go about it differently, and not provoke the problem. I don't see the need to advertise a big sign with a name. You can win souls for Christ without all that. But still, it's wrong to sue brethren.

  • There is nothing wrong with the doctrine the pioneers of the SDA church taught. The Sabbath, State of the Dead, etc. But this action is not right. I agree. This is not indicative of true Adventists, let me assure you.

  • They are not Christians! No Christian would go to court in this manner. It is prohibited action as a Christian. But If your not then you do as you like.
