Trooper, a pitbull girl known as the "dumpster dog", was treated at the animal hospital and sent to a rehab for pitbulls. They think she had been used as bait.
She is very sweet in spite of her experiences; the rehab judged her the smartest dog they ever treated! She was put up for adoption in January 2010. There is a reward for finding the person who did this to her.
Her expenses were covered through fundraisers and gifts. Please donate to Sophie's Fund at the Washington Humane Society.

This reminds me of my first dog. When I was a kid my father and I used to go for walks through the padocks near our house. One evening we heard feint whimpering coming from inside a garbage bag. It sounded almost human like and my dad ripped it open as fast as he could. A dog and her 6 puppies had been tossed carlessly in there and left to die. My dad carried them all the way back to our house and rushed them to the vet. Sadly the puppies died but my dad and I adopted the mother, Tasha.

This dog was obviously fought and probably did not win. Thses people who fight dogs should suffer the same fate as punishment that they have put theses dogs through.
