Desperate Houswives Season 5 Preview with Dana Ward

Keeping with the recent t-v trend to push series forward into the future, the semi-satirical soap starts off 5-years ahead of the mind-boggling season finale and the hot Housewives cast is transformed into 40-somethings.

The original sisterhood continues to meet for their poker playing get-togethers, including Lynette, Gabriel, Susan and Bree, with a surprising addition of Katherine, who has obviously joined the tight-knit group during the time-off period. Apparently by the year 2013, Wisteria Lane has gone through some major changes. Early on in the upcoming season, youll watch Susan say Im home, honey to a man that is obviously NOT Mike, plus Gaby has plumped-up and dressed-down after being overwhelmed by motherhood. Just down the street, Bree becomes the next Martha Stewart with a cookbook under her belt and a now-successful catering company. While Lynette has to tackle the problems her rebellious teen-twins have with authority. And there are also hints that Edie will return to Wisteria Lane, even after she exited the neighborhood due to an explosive feud.

Season-5 of Desperate Housewives starts Sunday, September 28th on ABC.
