This video is part one of two videos that feature about 15 to 20 protesters outside Hampstead, NH's Town Hall. U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-NH, was not present at the small Town Hall, but her staff was there. Protesters were largely against Obamacare, Tax & Trade and other egregious bills pending before Congress. The videographer interviews each of the protesters so they can explain why they are opposing the government-run plan. The videographer attempts to interview the political opposition, or those who favor government care, and asks them why they felt it was OK to come up from Massachusetts to a small New Hampshire town to protest in another state, but they only confirmed this was so and refused to answer questions. The second video shows this footage, as well as the inaccurate fallacies that Sen. Shaheen's staff tried to promulgate when faced with questions about the government plan.

  • He gets TRICARE and a lot of perks for being a vet. And someone said TRICARE sucked. He'd be better off with a public option. So basically he doesn't even know he's ot doing himself a favor here.

  • the comment above is obviously someone pretending to be from the right, who actually is from the left. It's a common tactic of the progressive movement to invent crazy right wingers. In reality, people like that don't exist -- at least on the right.

  • Go back to school and take spelling classes. I've seen immigrants write better English than you do.

  • Aaah... a breath of fresh air, someone who MAKES SENSE!

  • For those who are interested in knowing more about how the health care industry works today, you might want to lookup "House Energy and Commerce Subcmte. on Terminations of Individual Health Policies" on CSPAN's website.

  • Be pragmatic, that's all im saying. The goal is a good healthcare system. If it takes bigger government to deliver that then you shouldn't let ideology stand in the way. Im not saying it is the best way, but at least consider it.

  • How can I not get caught up in idealogical issues when our Government is trying to push them on us? Obama's plan for health care reform is straight up socialized medicine...straight up BIGGER government...but yet, I'm supposed to not get caught up in it? Why should we start doing what other countries do when they don't even come close how great America is? We got evil greedy men in power, but America was founded on great principles that are trying to be destroyed. We can't let it happen period

  • well hopefully you can figure out a new system that addresses the inequality in your system and the waste in our european ones. I just think that Americans have the chance to look at other systems around the world, examine their strengths and weaknesses and create a new better system. Dont be getting caught up in idealogical issues like socialism, big/small government - just be pragmatic and create a world class heath system.
