Um the ranger does have true 4 - wheel drive. It just does engage it automaticity when its In the allwheeldrive mode.

I can do the same thing in my Yamaha Rhino. Seriously I don't see what was so great about watching 2 minutes worth of someone sitting in a UTV putting goggles and gloves on to go out and do cookies in the snow. You don't need a Polaris Ranger to do that. However its easier with the ranger because of the lack of true 4WD.

Just got the 2012 limited edition 800 efi. Great machine. Get the front and rear windshield. its perfect when its cold out
