MTH Millennium Series New York Central 20th Century Limited (The Gold Train)

To all New York Central Steam fans, the holy grail of model trains. Here is The MTH Premier Millennium Series 20th Century Limited. 20-4029 5 car Madison Set Railway Express Agency 2000 Baggage Car-Harry C. Ives Coach-Louis Marx Coach- J. Lionel Cowen Coach-A.C. Gilbert Observation Car, 20-4129 2 car Madison Set Jerome M.Williams Combine Car- Robert E. Weaver Diner Car, 20-93037 Millennium Boxcar, and 20-3040-1 4-6-4 Millennium Hudson Road number 2000! I have been wanting this train for a long time and to me it is the greatest because its a true collectors piece but I will still play with it as shown by this video. The engine is equipped with protosound 1, and it is not working properly. Just the whistle and bell work. This train is way better than the Lionel version. The protosmoke unit was very misty. Glad you folks are enjoying this train. It is Gold plated. Its been my favorite train ever since I was a little boy. The dead stop at the same point is because of a gap in the rail. I'll be fixing that soon. I run it whenever I have the time. Its an awesome set. Thanks!

@puttrainguy Glad you liked it! I wanted this set all my life and I finally found all the pieces... It was worth every penny. Now just a little maintenance on the locomotive and the sound effects and it's perfect. Still have to put videos of the subways and other trains I own. Stay tuned and thanks for viewing.

is it a "true" 24k gold plated or just sprayed on look-a-like? Just wondering. Thanks for this video. I enjoyed it. To me I don't care if it is a collector item or not. They are ment to be runned. I think you would get more fun and enjoyment out of them if you ran them then just looking at them in their boxes. I guess different strokes for different folks. I'm glad you are running it and enjoying it though. Thanks again for sharing.
