  • Try to keep your population as small as possible. Don;t recrut a lot of soldiers- just the amount you really need. Sack settlements. Use peasants to maintain the public order =)

  • learn to play the game and dont cheat ! :)

  • Another good point. The tecnological gap between confroting armies was smaller at this point.

  • @phoenixking321 if you wanna keep your settlements happy use process_cq

  • @morais691alexandre up untill this time period the romans had far superior technology too

  • from the franks is the calvaryright

  • or you can use this cheat add_money 40000

  • it was different there was a rebellion in Egypt anf they would lose Egypt they were afraid to lose the empire en when they the largest amount of troops was in Egypt the barbarians attacked the northern front.

    and thats how it started

  • how could you build with no governor

  • it was both, you were right, it was entire tribes who were attacking, deep problems, advancements of the tribes, and so forth.

  • Not really, the barbarian still got their asses handed to them from time to time due to roman strategy. They were individually stronger and fiercer but the romans could easily best them in formation, like in the Battle of Mediolanum in 259 and the Battle of Naissus in 268. if that wasnt the case the the empire would have fallen a lot sooner.
