I remember when Stan used to come to our house and he always gave my brothers pet Labrador a Chewit sweet, and it would take ages for her to eat it. One time he forgot to give her one and she whined until he gave her it to eat.LOL. She was always sniffing his pockets. Your Father was a lovely man, and I think he shared a birthday with my Mum, or was a day apart from it. 25th June?

Saddened to see Stanley has died was our insurance man in dalmellington for many year, was very friendly with my parents, my mother was a Maybole woman and Stanley was a really really lovely man.God bless xx

Thankyou for your kind comments, my dad loved working up in Dalmellington he also enjoyed Patna and Ayr too he made many friends.
