**READ** if you ask a question that was answered in this, I will be very irritated.
We had Bella on a free lease for an indefinite amount of time because she wasn't for sale; she just needed a job. But a few months back, her owner-Debbie-decided that she wanted her daughter to have Bella for next show season. This meant we would have her through december, which was upsetting, but at that point, it would have been close to time to move up. But then she started having soundness issues. We tried a couple of different things that helped for a short amount of time, but she'd always get funny again. Not always lame, just not quite right. But eventually, she go to the point where she was bucking every few strides at the canter, and stopping at the fences even when they were tiny. She's always had a bit of an attitude, and my trainer thought that maybe she was just acting up again, btu I knew this wasn't right. I knew Bella, and something was wrong. We decided to give her a few dys off from jumping, but the next time I rode her, she was dead lame. We called the vet and set up an appointment, but I was worried that we'd have to give her back early because it seemed like she had joint issues and as she was already on joint supplement, I figured the only solution would be joint injections. It was already Aug. and it wasn't worth it for a few more months of showing, and we wouldn't have felt right working her that hard when she wasn't actually sound. However, we had good news. She had some pretty bad arthritis in her right hock, but the vet said that if we put her on an anti inflamatory-starting with a larger dose, and then eventually only uing a little bit- regularly for the pain, and kept working her like we were, the joints would eventually fuse and she'd be good to go. This was great news, because it meant I could keep Bella through December, and I was ecstatic that she'd be good as new after a week off and the anti-inflammatory. But then, a few days later, Debbie called. She said that she'd changed her mind and wanted Bella back. Right then. She said she missed her and needed her bak at her place with her other horses where she could see her every day. That was friday night. And on wednesday August 5th, we took her back. So now Bella is gone, and I miss her like crazy, but I've got another horse temporarily until we find something more suitable. I'll have a video of Candy up soon with more info. Yes, my heart is shattered, but I'll be ok. No, I'm not going to ride her out at Debbie's place, because I have other horses that I have to ride, and I don't have time to go all the way out there too. Plus, it would only be every once in a while. I haven't gone to see her since we left her there, and I don't know how long it will be until I can handle that. Leaving her there was the hardest thing I've ever done. It was made harder when she left the other horses to walk over to me and whinny as if to make sure I was still there. I love Bella with all my heart and soul, and I always will.
btw, I apoligize for my spelling error. I didn't notice until I had saved it and everything which takes forever.

You made me cry again :(
I know that I can never say anything that will make this better, but I really wish I could. You are one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, inside and out, so I can sleep peacefully knowing that you'll have something big and amazing and downright wonderful come to you. You just have to wait...
See you at the sleeeeeepover :)
