I have only watched the first 4 videos, but need to cram them all in as we are taking the camera on our honeymoon. On Auto mode, in daylight the flash wont pop up will it?? Sorry i am a complete novice with SLR's Also is it worth it getting a hood for the lense ? i have a 18-135 lense

@wozza6453 Hi and thanks for watching. I would recomend a lens hood as it will help reducs lens flare/glare which reduces contrast in images. It will also protect your lens when fitted should it be knocked. In auto mode the flash will fire if needed, or thought to be needed by the camera, say for fill in flash in a portrait shot.
