People talk about how far away you can hear a UH1. They don't believe you when you talk about how much louder a 214ST is. One the offshore rig I was on we moved out AC's next the the heliport to get them away from the chemicals on deck. We had 412's, 76's, and Pumas land w/o trouble. The first 214 that came in ripped the fan blades off their hubs and sent them flying into our coils. Took out 4 AC's. Awesome bird that can carry a small town, lol
