These are no hunters. They are basically just pleasure horses. Looks ridiculous. You have to love how most of them are put in these pitiful headsets with all kinds of artificial training methods too. This is why I have no interest in the AQHA. Also, have to add the fact that this is the most boring cr*p I have ever seen.

If you don't like AQHA, or agree with the way they are changing the "Hunters" then don't watch or show with them. Easy as that. This is a hunter UNDER SADDLE class, meaning these horses aren't made to go over jumps or on a fox hunt. And I have jumped my Hunter Under Saddle horse, and have had no problem with him doing a "face plant."

Yuck!!! AQHA folks do understand I would hope, but seriously doubt, that Hunters, etc. originated with the fox hunt, in the field. Cannot imagine any ONE of these horses racing around in a fox hunt, jumping natural jumps, etc., without doing a serious face plant in the dirt. Get a clue!
