No, just in America, we don't like the government taking our god damn money and giving it to a bum. Free healthcare MY ASS, you still pay for it, so actually, it's not free, the government basically just took away your decision to have/not have health insurance. Now you HAVE to pay it and for the guy next to you. The European system is in for trouble in the upcoming years, aging populations is going to put a strain on that "free healthcare" just like it's going to strain our social security.

Yes, the reps are for tax reductions. But they still are spending billions, which is done by simply printing more money. So there's your taxes. It's called inflation. Dems don't want free healthcare. At least, I assume they want to use the European system (I'm dutch) where everybody pays a fixed amount and get the healthcare you need. I don't mind sharing my riches with the more needy at all. Strange that the Americans are so egocentric. As if they don't know not everyone has equal chances.

Because heres one big thing. The Democrats want free healthcare. Question, how can if be "free" if everyone gets increased taxes? It's basically like paying for your own insurance, just this time your FORCED to pay it. I'm against the bailouts of AIG but Frannie Mae was needed, well, atleast to keep this country out of a Depression. Democrats(Obama specifically) are for BIG government and tax increases.Republicans(McCain specifically) are for SMALL government and tax reductions.

All the money combined that the democrats were going to put in social healthcare and other social programs are only a small fraction what the republicans spend on social programs such as rescuing certain banks. So who is REALLY the big 'social' spender now? Labeling democrats as socialist or communist is soo 2007. It's the republicans now that reign supreme in social programs dude :P
