Great video mate, I only needed to see how the door card was taken off as my lock motor is faulty. Very well narrated and in a clear and see put together format. Cheers

Another great video, very informative for a long term problem I have tolerated and ignored beause I can't afford BMW dealers 1K price tag that I can do for 25 bucks.
Thank you!

Excellent video. Loved the attention to detail (where clips are etc.). Just what I needed to know to fix my '99 540i Sport. FYI I just managed to order the regulator from eBay for £35 delivered.
I hope you continue to make other videos like this. Perhaps "How to fix reverse parking sensors when they just emit a high-pitched beep"?!

Hello great instructional video... however i have encountered a problem trying to remove the window guide on the exterior of car... is there some hidden screw(s) or adhesive holding it secure??? i have removed the three screws from the interior and tried pulling the guide up and wiggling it but to no avail... i actually have now slightly bent the guide... i own a 2000 528i

When i was trying to close the window of my e36, I heard a noise of something breaking and my windows stopped working. I think the mechanism is still workig because it can hear it going up and down and it even rolls the window down a little bit. But i cannot roll the window back up. there are some noises produced if i try to roll the window. what do you think is the problem in it.

@sptslash the wire has broken or come off the regulator.

if my window still rolls perfectly, but it doesnt roll all the way up, (it stays stuck at about 1-2 inches before sealing completely, do you think it might be the regulator?

@slitheredxscars probally. The best thing to do is to take the inside off as per the video and see what it is doing.
