In the land of Nod, just east of Eden, a master storyteller relates the story of Genesis. He tells the spirit of God moving over the waters, of the creation of all the plants and animals, and of their naming by Adam. He tells of the creation of Eve. Then Adam and Eve disobey God's command and eat the forbidden fruit. For their disobedience, God expels Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. To the children listening, the story lesson in the danger of disobeying God's will. The storyteller reminds them that Genesis means "The Beginning." And for all mankind, for all the ages, this is just the beginning.

  • @EmetTalmudim6 ...okay, did you even actually watch the video or read my entire comment.

  • @EmetTalmudim6 How does this relate to my comment?

  • @lawofficers keep in mind God's Allknowing, so even though He knew what choice they'd make it didn't prevent them from freely making it. That being the case, it's like my grandma use to say whenever she knew her kids absolutely were not going to listen to her, "If you won't hear you'll just have to feel."

  • I guess that makes sense.

  • @Jakegothicsnake Of all media depictions i believe this movie gives the most accurate portrayal of Adam and eve, in terms of their looks. Most modern day presentations depict them as having the physique of the average human being. But in here they look like super models, it's no surprise that if we saw both of them in real life, they would look alot better than they do in here

  • @Jakegothicsnake see my post to sabreteeth999

  • @sabreteeth999 "Let me get some of that fruit from the tree of life. I'd be eternal."

1.That was God's original intent all along-we chose instead to upload knowledge we weren't ready to receive yet-

2.Were you to eat of that tree of life now you would be eternally damned with no remedy-not even the Cross of Christ-That's why God drove Adam & Eve out of the Garden after they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good & Evil; It was tactical precaution to their & our benafit.

  • @lawofficers No because sooner of later one of us would have disobeyed or been deceived. The intent of the Tree test was not so God could see if humanity could resist temptation, but rather so humanity would see we couldn't without Him.

  • @JakobDailes actually, the Christian canon was established during a ten yr period starting in AD 140 by those left who knew Jesus or who knew people who knew Jesus. The COMPLETE Jewish canon was established as early as the Babylonian captivity prior to Jesus' birth. Canonicity was never an issue at Nicea. When it was at later councils it was over whether the Apochryphal writings should be included-which wasn't settled until the Council of Trent, initially following the Reformation-
