Wow, it astounds me that textbooks can get this bad. I was homeschooled by very religious parents, and they used religion-based textbooks as well (from a business called "Apalogia Ministries"), but not NEARLY as bad as these. I think the most annoying thing is that every other paragraph just had to mention how awesome god is for creating something this awesome. Then in highschool biology, there was an entire module devoted to how evolution is wrong..... ugh :p

Electricity is the moving of electrons, and there are different theories about the origin of the moon, however, you are mostly right. The fact that anyone would try to teach children something so mindnumbingly stupid seriously appals me. I too let out a loud "WHAT?!" when you started reading from that book...I need to invest in some facepalm protection gear if I'm gonna keep watching your videos.
