http://www.mindstratpuzzles.com Here I show how this new puzzle based on a unique concept works, with pyramids rotating in the empty space. All the materials used are of the highest quality, as someone could expect from a product made in Singapore. The internal hitting of the pyramid as well as the external hitting are issues we seriously took into consideration before we constructed this puzzle.

The goal of the puzzle is to ensure that all the colors match on the sides and at the bottom. There are two solution for the Cubedron, and going from one to the other is not easy.

One of the nice things of this puzzle, is that someone can use speed. The smooth rotation of the pyramids inside the sphere, which is a testament of its design, allows fast manipulation and speedsolving.

  • love it, but im wondering how to use the stackmat timer with it in a competition :) if you throw it away to put both of your hands on the timer then its scrambled again ^^

  • @explosionmonty I have seen what you said happening to all puzzles, the cube, the magic, etc (they can rotate when they hit the ground). Unless gravity changes during the competition because of a comet or an asteroid passing by from a very close distance. But then, there would be more serious problems to worry about! :-P

  • so its like tetravex in a sphere? cool.

  • Yes, you can certainly say that! Of course, it is no longer an easy matching puzzle, as free rotation is not allowed. It was deliberately made hard in a 3D way. And some other people, just don't get it. :-)

  • i dont like that puzzle...

  • well, that's too bad, as you will be seeing it more often in the future. ;-)

  • Lol, I'd probably just give this to a cat to play with. It'd be pretty amazing if I found it solved after the cat played with it. xD
