  • This film is so desperate , humanity is so hard to find....I realy love it!

  • I wonder why did I LOL like SHIT while watching this movie..

  • @WeNeedSomeGolfShoes for me, brother is best followed by sonatine, hana-bi, boiling point, VC and so on

  • This movie is genius, pure noir (at it's darkest).

  • @WeNeedSomeGolfShoes He doesn't have a bad film, period. So there really is no "Worst". But as far as his best, ACHILLES AND THE TORTOISE seems pretty obvious.

  • I fucking love this director

  • So many spoilers in this trailer.

  • @McNugget06 Not sure about that. It was extremely straightforward. It's certainly flawed, but I don't coherence was its problem. Either way, the cut I've seen -- and you've probably seen -- is the American cut. THere apparently exists a Japanese version that is edited differently... never seen it though. Either way, it's definitely his worst, but a few years later, he did Dolls, Takeshis', Glory, and Achilles.. which all rank in my absolute favorites.. so, it was just a fluke, thank god..

  • @mradamcooley There isn't coherence to the plot it's all over the place. The film was a mess. It had some moments but it was bad.

  • @McNugget06 I like BRother, but it's defintiely my least favorite of his. It is odd, in that it is his most violent flm, and has some of his best scenes (paper airplane!), but something about it doesn't feel quite right... at times it feels like a parody of American films... at times feels like a weird awkward American version of Sonatine.. It took me a while to appreciate it, but I kinda see it as being awkward and weird because Kitano doesn't understand American culture..
