THIS should be the memorial with flags for each nationality claimed by the earthquake, the anglican cathedral rebuilt. It would look beautiful.

What are you guys talking about, the church is heavily insured, most if not all will be payed by insurers.

The Pope wouldn't be paying for it, it would be the members of the church. Money collected in church does not go to the Vatican at all, the only money collected that does not stay in the church is the money for th Bishops Appeal that goes to help other churches.
