I am constantly amazed by the imagination of man...look at "god" for instance, one of our most infamous creations...

I like what he said about the afterlife. The thing people like to do in concern with the afterlife is just assume it's going to happen and that they're existence as it were is just going to keep trucking. Well in the event that it doesn't, Fry says that it's important to learn all you can now, because you might not get to later. There's that, and I think you should also have as much fun in the here and now. This life might be it. So just in case, we should live it to the fullest.

I know the Catholic Church is responsible for torturing non-Catholics (the Inquisition), killing non-Catholics (the Crusades), supporting Hitler (the Reichskonkordat of 1933), killing countless Africans by lying to them about contraception, and raping countless children then protecting the guilty priests from prosecution.
And you call the criticism of these atrocities "hateful"? Your ignorance offends me.
