  • The Swahili lessons were great. Reminded me of my years in high school Spanish class. All young people should have to learn a foreign language. But Swahili was only widely spoken along the East African coast. Going upcountry, people spoke their tribal languages. Kind of like speaking Castilian in the Catalan city of Barcelona. So I muddle through in other cultures by pointed at everything.

  • Great video. Mr. Brain was a savior relating to Tanzanian customs. I had a tough time with the language. However I still remember a remarkable amount today. PC Tang. VI.

  • One common theme I heard from Tang IV was the respect they had for Jim Brain
