  • What kind of binder did you use?

    Also, that was only 40 grams? Shit, I need to get rid of some that I've got in my basement. I've got a kilo sitting on my bookshelf.

  • @KittyRokher Yeah 40 grams in end-burner configuration. Binder was a lower viscosity R20 from Bayer though this really doesn't make much difference (from R45). Have fun burning your stash :)

    Out of curiousity, what formula did you use for the APCP?

  • @KittyRokher It has been awhile but I think it was 71/14/15 AP/Al/binder. The AP was spherical 200 micron and the binder was 1 part DIBA surfactant and remainder (14 pars) R20 and low vapor pressure diisocynate crosslinking agent. I had trouble removing gas pockets and increasing density even while working in a vacuum.

  • was just a propellant grain. no nozzle.
