@SFO14 I don't believe Phil when he said that, he only need to say something good about both players. If he needs to really compare them, it will be a long talk. But all those detail can be shorten to: MJ is better in scoring, reb, ast, lower turnover rate, more effecient, almost everything.

I'm not a Kobe fan, but even Phil Jackson has said that Kobe is more fundamentally sound, while MJ was stronger and more athletic. But I will say that MJ's midrange game is unparalleled.

one thing you dont understand on jordan's game, is he could score 50 points on you without shooting 1 three. MJ had a better shot selection and overall better midrange game and shot. could dunk it on people harder, finishes to the rim better, plays better D, faster and better hops...... but yeah ok kobe has a better 3 because he jacks em up all the time, he should have good practice at it
