Chipmunks Roasting On An Open Fire - Director's Cut

Swine flu is out, Chipmunk Fever is in! In honor of the unexpected popularity of "Chipmunks Roasting On An Open Fire" located at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAVCdAh54eY, I am happy to present this Director's Cut. Thanks to an idea by my friend Geetarz, the Director's Cut is narrated in a chipmunk voice!

I wrote and recorded the audio for "Chipmunks Roasting On An Open Fire" in September of 1999. In December of 2009, I created the "Chipmunks Roasting On An Open Fire" music video. No actual chipmunks were harmed in the making of this video.

In the interest of full disclosure, there is a song and album called "Chipmunks Roasting On An Open Fire" by Bob Rivers, the twisted genius who brought us "Walking Around In Womens Underwear." While there are interesting parallels between the lyrics of both songs, my lyrics were written the year before his album's release. There's room in this wonderful world for both versions!
