V1 does have a EU program mode and found that it works just fine.
For those of us in the States they don't use band 8 so we could care less.

V1 Euro Mode has nothing to do with a Laser.

Yes, Traffipatrol XR is in use in Europe. It's made by Multanova producer - ROBOT A.G., so if you have in your country Multanova dealer, it's very posible you have or will have Traffipatrol XR on your roads.
