The flower looks like a Lycoris to me. Maybe Lycoris Aurea (Golden Spider Lily). The ones in Jigoku Shoujo were called Lycoris Radiata, red spider lilies. I've also heard them called equinox flowers since they bloom in autumn, but I don't know if that's any sort of 'official name or not.
