I don't think you know what a parable is. Telling someone to hate his or herself is not a parable. Ordering one's enemies to be slain before one's sight is not a parable. And so on. If you can't understand this, then there's no point in continuing with our conversation.

This isn't even close to what he said. Loving one's family and loving Jesus above all else are not mutually exclusive, and it's not what Jesus said: What Jesus said, he put it in plain language: Hate your family, hate yourself or you cannot follow me.

I don't believe in magic, ghosts, devils, or the "NWO," I'm afraid, so what you write here is moot -- no evidence that any of that stuff exists. Millennia upon millennia of human existence, not one shred of proof that the supernatural is real.

@cuvinteleluitati No, he didn't. Parables are stories used to illustrate a moral or intellectual point. Saying that things will happen before someone dies, ordering people to hate their families or own lives, et cetera, is not speaking in parables. If we're going to play that excuse game, then I can dismiss EVERYTHING Jesus allegedly said -- him being one with the Father, the existence of Hell, the rewards of Heaven and the necessity of believing in Jesus to attain them, etc.
