@walnutfalcons actually ends in Houston...but yeah you are right, the people who complain about it not taking place in Paris Texas are the same ones who think the world will end in 2012.

To everyone talking about the film not being shot in Paris, Texas--
It wasn't shot in Paris, Texas because it doesn't take place in Paris, Texas. It starts out somewhere in the West Texas desert, moves to Los Angeles and then finishes in Dallas. Paris is referred to, but never visited.
