Thanks, well I was probably a young no life back then...after playing it for 3 months non-stop I could finish the game 5 times in a row before running out of lives. Then again I was 11 years old and had plenty of time on my hands :)

i was even worse. i could play this game straight for 13hrs and finish the game many times.... with hundreds of lives and bombs left. after that i didnt play it anymore :)

i can play the highscore tune on my piano still :) (will publish this on youtube soon)

It was the only C64 game that had strange disappearing sprites. Why?

(Speccy conversions like Skool Daze excluded).

I love this game I played it in 1992 when I was 10 years old, I remember this stage it was the last stage and I was lucky to finish the game, it was fun and hard at the same time:)

hah, i used to have to quit cause my mother called me for dinner or something ... 20+ time level completed, even the lives-counter would go berserk after more than 20 lives :)

ah, the good days ... my best friend is still upset about this game cause i only ever let him throw the grenades while i was running around shooting :D

never reached ! check out the soundtrack of rubicon ! its like a pendant to stalker - shadow of chernobyl, just from 88 or so :)

i got the soundtrack of commando as my cellphone ringtone it kicks butt !
